Getting to School - how pupils get to school
Simple
survey to find out how pupils get to school each day.

2: Getting to School

Pupils examine the forms of
transport used to get to and from school. This encourages pupils to
think about their means of transport and if they could improve their
fitness or their impact on the environment by adopting a more
sustainable (and healthy) means of transport.
Activity 3: Traffic Survey - traffic around the school
Pupils will
carry out a survey to find out what kind and how much traffic passes the
school during a half hour period. They will survey several different
spots around the schools and could survey at different times.
