The South West Observatory
pages host a mass of information about the state of the environment in the SW: about air and water quality, environmental indicators, the current state of the environment, local wildlife and pressures on our environment. Fantastic! There are sections about local training events, and environmental education but it is mainly a library of information. I found the site fascinating - there is so much to find out and all local to the region.
The South West Regional Biodiversity Partnership
has been created to provide biodiversity information for and about all counties in the South West. You can download Local Biodiversity Plans for specific areas, get guidance for LBAPs and find out about all the local biodiversity events. The site is easy to navigate and packed with well presented and interesting information.
