If you have never been to the Bishops Wood Centre then you have been missing out. The centre provides advice, consultancy and training for schools, businesses and individuals in environmental management and awareness. The building itself was designed to be as environmentally responsible as possible and is set in a beautiful 70 acre site. For advice on living sustainably you should check them out. The Kemerton Conservation Trust aims to conserve wildlife in the counties of Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire and to protect places of man-made or natural beauty for public benefit. It seeks to integrate farming and conservation, setting an example to other land-owners and farmers. To do this it runs a program of school visits, and farm visits. The website has masses of information about the work of the Trust and about conservation, habitat generation and wildlife.

The West Midlands Biodiversity Partnership promote
biodive rsity conservation, co-ordinate biodiversity action plan activity, and tackle strategic issues. There is a great page about biodiversity.

The Wyre Forest website gives information about the forest along with routes for walks through the ancient woodland.

West Midland Bird Club provides information, lecture, tours and research into bird life in the region. They will email you with a bulletin about new sightings and welcome tips and ideas from local ornithologists.

WMnet Climate
Change in the Curriculum programme is designed to
encourage and support teaching and learning about climate change
during the school year September 2005 to July 2006. There are
activities and projects to increase the use of broadband
technologies and foster new ways of teaching and learning.
