Sustainable Schools website is a tool to be used by teachers and students who want to make their school more sustainable. It is a fantastic resource and links to the teacher and visitor centre in Hebden Bridge, offering membership of the Suschools network. Masses of information about funding, places to visit and activities to use in class.
Heeley City Farm in Sheffield works to involve every interested person in farmlife as they aim to make Sheffield a better place to be. The Farm manages a highly successful Community Recycling Centre, offers lots of vocational and practical courses for all ages and has masses of educational resources.
North Yorkshire Moors National Park website is a fantastic resource for anyone visiting the park. There are pages of information for school projects - facts and figures / wildlife guides / myths and legends - besides all the info needed to enjoy the countryside without causing any harm.
