Everyone can use GLOBE data and materials - they're free on this website.  Just use the menu bar at the left to find out more - and link to the international GLOBE website using the 'Hotlink' button.

To join GLOBE and send your own school's data to contribute to the world database, a teacher or leader from your school or centre must attend a one day training course. We run these courses throughout the UK, wherever there is a demand. We can run courses in partnership with LEAs or Education Centres or Schools, and we also run courses at Science and Environment Centres.

The cost of training is £80 (+ VAT) per person for a one-day course, and if you can organise a venue with at least 6 people attending, we will give you a FREE place on the course! GLOBE Training includes hands-on learning both in the classroom and outside
 - and it's fun!




 

Once you have successfully completed your day's training, we will issue you with the User Name and Password that let you to put your school's data on the world map.  The one-day training course fee is the only payment you need to join and participate in GLOBE-UK - there is no annual subscription.
